Orange Grove – A Hispanic man is still on the loose after he allegedly robbed an employee of Sandcastle Pediatrics on the 100 block of Armstrong Drive Monday morning.
According to Police Chief Roy Guerrero Jr., the victim was unlocking the business when the unknown man robbed her. The suspect took approximately $400 from the victim and a credit card.
The man wore blue jeans, a black shirt and had short hair. He also had a Longhorn tattoo under his left eye and the same tattoo on his left arm.
According to police officials, the victim could not identify the suspect. The suspect left in an older F150 black pickup.
The Orange Grove schools and the Justice of the Peace's office, directly across the clinic, were placed on lockdown for precautions.
Police Chief Roy Guerrero Jr. and other police officials continue to review surveillance video and follow all leads.
According to officials, a woman was checked out at the scene for by paramedics for several scratches to her neck.
The victim told police the suspect had a yellow and black box cutter blade, police said.
