Bilingual Storyteller and Singer Songwriter Sue Young presents “On Your Mark, Get, Set, Read – En Sus Marcas, Listos, Lean!” - songs and stories to get kids excited about reading.

Young will be at the Alicia Salinas COA Public Library on Wednesday, June 29 at 2:30 p.m.

Young has lived most of her life in New Mexico and Texas. She spent a year of adventure in South America during college.

She's delighted thousands of kids at libraries, schools and festivals with her programs and teaches Spanish and music in Austin. Her work has been honored by Parents' Choice and she wrote the Texas Reading Club theme songs for 2009 and 2011.

Young is a four time Kerrville New Folk Finalist and was a 2011 Texas Music Awards Nominee for Female Vocalist of the Year.
