The 79th District Court Judge Richard Terrell presided over cases Tuesday, June 23 with one man accepting eight years in prison and four cases ready for the Monday trial docket.

Eduardo Santes Morales for possession of marijuana was in the works of a plea agreement. Marisela Barrientes for driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years had a plea deal pending. Cristobal Eluterio Garcia for aggravated sexual assault of a child was reset. Roger Gutierrez for injury child, elderly, disable with intent to cause bodily injury was in the works of a plea agreement. Ariel Rae Maldonado for injury to a child was reset. Gilberto Monsevais Jr. for injury to a child was set for trial docket for Monday, June 27. David Zuniga for driving while intoxicated set for trial docket for Monday, June 27. Michael James Keen for evading arrest detention was dismissed. Collin Ross Hansen for injury to a child was reset. Julio Jesus Garcia for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reset. Israel Sanchez for sexual assault of a child was reset. Antonio Gutierrez for indecency with a child was reset. Javier Gonzalez Jr. for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was set for trial docket on Monday, June 27. Carolina Castillo for possession of a controlled substance was set for trial docket on Monday, June 27. Katrina Ann Mata for injury to a child was reset. Jose David Perez Jr. for injury to a child was reset. Romeo Rosas for burglary of a habitation was dismissed. Michael Kaleb McGlaun for sexual assault of an adult was reset. Minerva Rodriguez for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was dismissed. Rene Ryan Villagran for possession of a controlled substance plead to eight years in a Texas State Prison.
