Macaria DeLeon, 79, of Orange Grove, TX, entered into eternal rest on May 13, 2016. She was born in Seguin, TX on March 10, 1937 to Jorge and Eloisa DeLeon. She was a homemaker whom loved gardening and spending time with family. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Andres DeLeon Sr.; two sons, Oscar DeLeon and Manuel Jesus DeLeon Sr.; and daughter, Viola DeLeon. 

She is survived by four sons: Andres DeLeon Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Marcus DeLeon of Corpus Christi, TX, Juan (Diana) DeLeon of Corpus Christi, TX, Abel (Tina) DeLeon of Orange Grove, TX.; four daughters: Eloisa (Canuto) Ortiz of Orange Grove, TX, Guadalupe DeLeon (Donald McHenry) of Sandia, TX, RosaLinda (Jimmy) Jarrell of Corpus Christi, TX, Senaida (Rene) Rodriguez of Orange Grove, TX; daughter-in-law, Martha DeLeon of Skidmore, TX; two brothers, Jorge DeLeon Jr. of Seguin, TX, Domingo Ybarra DeLeon of Alfred, TX; sister, Isabel Sandoval of Seguin, TX.; 22 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be: Johnny Ortiz, Manuel J. DeLeon Jr., Canuto Ortiz Jr., Matthew Garcia, Rene Rodriguez Jr., and Jesse Lopez. 

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, from 4 to 9pm at Treviño Funeral Home Alice, 120 E. Front St.; with a Prayer Service at 7 pm.

A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at 1 pm at Treviño Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. John of the Cross Cemetery in Orange Grove, TX.
