Freer - A 20-year-old man was arrested Sunday evening with approximately 47 grams of synthetic marijuana and 13 grams of hydro-marijuana.

Agencies from the Central South Texas Investigation Unit, Duval County Sheriff deputies, Freer police officers and Texas Department of Public Safety executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence at the corner of 5th Avenue and West Riley.

Officers entered the residence and arrested Gary Benjamin Salinas.

Salinas was charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

He was taken to the Duval County jail.

Salinas' bond was set at a total of $26,500. As of Tuesday afternoon Salinas remained in the county jail.
