This weekend, St. Anthony's Catholic Church will hold it's 37th annual Fiesta Mexicana at the Richard M. Borchard Fairgrounds in Robstown, Texas. The two day event will include several musical and dance performances by local acts such as the Robstown High School Mariachi Sol Rojo, and Mariachi Celestial, folklorico groups from Corpus Christi Meadowbrook Elementary and Immaculate Conception Church in Taft. Musical performances by Rene Pena Band, La Union Colombiana Oficial, Kanela Band, Grupo Bezzo, David Marez, Iliana Silva, Los Arias, Grupo Ondo, and Fito Olivares. There will also be a special performance by St. Anthony School.

The festivities will be free to the public and will provide them with hours of entertainment aide from the food, vendors, and games for the whole family. There will also be a raffle for a chance to win a brand new GMC 1500 Sierra single cab pickup or 19 other prizes. Winner of the truck will need to take care of tax, title, and license fees.

There will also be a royalty contests for baby prince and princess, youth king and queen, and adult king and queen. The festivities will run on Saturday, March 5 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday, March 6 from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
