The grand jury in the 229th District Court indicted 16 people for January on charges that range from possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and injury to a child.

Those indicted include:

Ernesto Mireles for possession of intent to deliver Rene Roel Diaz for possession with intent to deliver and possession of marijuana Vilma Barrientez for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana Robert Gonzalez for possession of a controlled substance Joshua Garcia for aggravated robbery Billy Joe Lopez for driving while intoxicated third or more Federico Cano for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver Rubelina Tovar Harris for driving while intoxicated third or more Jose Alberto Loredo for possession of a controlled substance Bobby Joe Benavides for two counts of invasive visual recording Wilbert Curtis Thomas for possession of a controlled substance Amanda Christine Rinald for two counts of possession of a controlled substance Rolando Gonzalez for attempted burglary of a habitation Jayme Hernandez for burglary of building Tasha N. Olivarez for two counts of tamper with governmental records Anjelica Maria Luera also known as Angelica M. Vela for three counts of injury to a child with intent bodily injury
