DI Big Brains make top three at state competition
SAN DIEGO - A group of excited students from Bernarda Jaime Junior High in San Diego have reached their Destination Imagination goal. Ariana Casas, Jayla Perez, Aracelli Gallegos, Rene Gonzalez Jr., Allison Maldonado, Omar Aleman and Landon Sanchez make up the DI Big Brains.

First Alzheimer’s Committee meeting held with hopes for awareness walk
The first Alzheimer’s Committee meeting for Alice, Jim Wells County and surrounding area was held on Thursday, March 24. It was hosted by The Premier of Alice in collaboration with City of Alice, Alice Independent School District, CHRISTUS Spohn and community supporters.
Tractor Supply donates $50K to the Texas Department of Agriculture STAR fund
Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller announced today that Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the U.S., has committed $50,000 to the State of Texas Agriculture Relief Fund (STAR), which is available through the Texas Department of Agriculture to provide aid to farmers, ranchers, producers and agribusiness owners adversely impacted by natural disasters.
