To help local students achieve their dreams of furthering their education, Jim Wells County Farm Bureau awarded five students $1,500 scholarships each. “We offer these scholarships at a local level to help kids right here at home,” said Kirk Baxter, President of JWC Farm Bureau.
Most college-bound students qualify for financial aid to help pay for their education, such as federal and state grants, scholarships and federal loans.
