Sweet, refreshing and unique lemonade was sold by Jim Wells County children on Saturday, June 25 as part of the Alice HUB City Chamber of Commerce Lemonade Day. Ten teams of children set up their stands with lemonade, food, sweets and smiles as they learned the value of a dollar.
Different color shirts were displayed at the Anderson Park where Cancer survivors and their support team gathered for the 2022 Duval and Jim Wells Counties Relay for Life Friday, June 24. Relay of Life is one of the largest cancer fundraisers in the nation.

SAN DIEGO - The Vaquero Interact Club held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the San Diego Vaquero Courts Monday for the Free Sharing Library. The Interact Club raised money throughout the year to raise money to purchase the library.
