Alice High School Summer ACE students recently visited Texas A&M University - Kingsville and Del Mar College in Corpus Christi. The trip end the summer ACE program.
The Beta Pi Chapter, Alice, of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Texas State Organization, Area 5, recently welcomed three new members into the society. Key women educators who became members are Nancy Montez, educator at Bernarda Jaime Junior High School at San Diego Independent School District; Barbara Garcia of Bishop, retired from Alice ISD; and Krystina Pena De La Rosa, educator at Saenz Elementary at Alice ISD.
FREER - On Thursday, June 30, the Rotary Club of Freer swore in new officers and inducted a new member.
