It’s about to be marching season, and the section leaders of this year’s Alice High School marching band have been hard at work in preparation. The group meets each morning to practice marching skills as they prepare for to astonish Coyote fans.

Grace Perez with the Salvation Army spoke to Alice Rotarians on Wednesday, July 20 at their regular meeting. Perez spoke about her involvement with the organization and how it has already helped people in need.
BEN BOLT - About 95 children participated in the Ben Bolt - Palito Blanco High School’s Varsity Cheerleaders Mini Cheer Camp. The camp had children ages three to 12 learning basic cheer skills like stunts, cheers and chants.

Vacation Bible Schools through area churches are giving children an opportunity to learn about Christianity. Churches are inviting the public to attend.
