CORPUS CHRISTI - While some people know the term “commencement” to mean graduation, it is also defined as a beginning or a start. May 21 signified a new beginning for 1,286 Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi graduates as they took the next step toward their future.
The Tri-County RTA had their last meeting for this year on Thursday, May 19 at the First United Methodist Church. The theme for the meeting was “Sixties Farewell Train” so Tri-County members dressed in their favorite groovy clothes. District 2 President, Beverly Tackett installed the 2022-2024 Tri-County RTA officers.
Gabriel Edmundo Aguilar of Orange Grove graduated from Sam Houston State University on Friday, May 13 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Aguilar is the son of Frank Aguilar III and Sandra Aguilar.
While every species of bird is unique in its own way, there are some species that stand out more than others. One of these is the Shoebill. This bird, endemic to Central and Northeast Africa, stands between 3.5 to 5 feet in height, with an 8 foot wingspan. It has gray plumage with large yellow eyes, and long legs.
