Deadline to Apply for the Homeowner Assistance and Reimbursement Programs (HARP) is Aug. 31

AUSTIN — Today the Texas General Land Office (GLO) announced the application for the Homeowner Assistance and Reimbursement Program (HARP) will close at 5 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2022. Applications are currently being reviewed in all eligible counties affected by flooding events in South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley in 2018 and 2019, as well as Tropical Storm Imelda in 2019. All potential applicants must submit applications by the deadline to be considered for eligibility so long as funding is available.

State Sales Tax Revenue Totaled $3.7 Billion in June

(AUSTIN) — On Friday, July 1, Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.68 billion in June, 16.4 percent more than in June 2021. The majority of June sales tax revenue is based on sales made in May and remitted to the agency in June.
