Two pilots of a T-45 jet were transported to Christus Spohn in Kleberg County after their aircraft crashed in southern Jim Wells County near Premont.
According to hospital officials, the two pilots were released on Monday.
The student pilot and instructor ejected safely and were recovered. The pilots, Brandon Wells and Evan Rose, are assigned to squadron VT-21 at NASK and were on a training mission over Brooks County, according to NASK officials.
The plane crash happened late Sunday evening at the Jaboncillos Ranch near County Road 432.
Officials with Naval Air Station - Kingsville stated the jet went down 17 miles southwest of the airfield at approximately 9 p.m
Emergency medical personnel treated the pilots on scene before transporting them.
Investigators located the wreckage and secured the area.
The crash is under investigation and may take several weeks before the cause of the crash is known.
Jim Wells County deputies, Premont Police and Fire Departments, and Department of Public Safety were at the scene of the crash.
