The Dubose Intermediate School Running Club met on Tuesday after school for a quick run around the campus.

The running club is organized around the activity of running. The focus of the club is to promote the well being of the students through fitness. Students in the club develop a positive mental attitude and while encouraging sportsmanship.

Reina Garcia and Brianna Brunner, fifth grade teachers, have been teaching basic techniques, skills and strategies of running. The club activities are changed weekly.

Some activities include relays, sprints, long distance, and free days where students get to choose the activities.

Club meetings are held every Tuesday weather permitting.
