San Diego Police Department received more than 1,000 service calls for the 2015 year.
A total of 1,381 calls that range from assaults, accidents, robberies, suicides and even smuggling of persons.
Among the calls were 47 for accidents, four arson cases, two major robberies and two smuggling of persons.
According to Chief Fernando Garcia, the number of service calls is down approximately 200 calls from last year.
As always citizens are urged to call the department and 9-1-1 for emergencies.
