The Texas Education Agency released the final 2015 accountability summary for schools across the stated. All three districts in Duval County met the state requirements.

The district’s are scored in four different indexes. The first is student achievement which represents a snapshot of performance across all subjects, on both general and alternative assessments, at an established performance standard. Second, student progress which provides an opportunity for diverse campuses to show improvements made independent of overall achievement levels. Growth is evaluated by subject and student ethnicity group. Third, closing performance gaps which emphasizes improving academic achievement of the economically disadvantaged student group and the lowest performing race/ethnicity student groups at each campus or district. Fourth, postsecondary readiness which includes measures of high school completion, and beginning in 2015, State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) performance at the postsecondary readiness standard.

Each campus was evaluated individually as well with some meeting the standard and others needing improvement in certain areas.
