Renee Adame Casares, 77, of San Antonio passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015. She was born in Alice, Texas to Reynaldo L. Adame, Sr. and Consuelo E. Cavazos Adame and reared in San Diego, Texas.
Renee obtained a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education from Texas A & I University in 1959. She earned her Master’s degree in Library Science from Our Lady of the Lake University in 1974. Renee taught at La Joya High School, Edgewood High School, Harlandale High School. She was also a librarian at Truman Middle School, Wheatley High School and at Burbank High School. Renee was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, the Blue Bird Auxiliary and Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital. She has been a resident of San Antonio since 1960.
Renee was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Casares, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Robert John Casares; daughter, Rebecca Casares Rich; grandson, Kevin Anthony Rich; brothers, Reynaldo L. Adame, Jr. and Robert C. Adame and four nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 28th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 30th at 2 p.m. at the San Diego Cemetery. You are invited to sign the Guestbook at www.porterloring.com
