Democrat party chair resigned Wednesday in order to run for state representative and new interim was elected.

Marisa Yvette Garcia Utley stepped down and Marc Toureilles was elected new party chair interim with a precinct chair vote of 4-0. Utley is running against incumbent republican J.M. Lozano.

After the interim was in place, ballot drawings for placement took place for contested races. Results were as follows:
