San Diego High School students duct taped their principal to help raise money for the welfare children of Duval County.

Cassandra Gonzalez an 11th grade National Honor Society student organized a community service project to raise money to buy a Christmas outfits for children in assisted by the Duval County Child Welfare Board.

Gonzalez hosted a tape your San Diego High School principal on Friday, Dec. 18. Students bought one foot of duct tape for a dollar and taped Garcia to the cafeteria wall.

Gonzalez raised $230 dollars to purchase 15 outfits.

She also received other donations from a teacher Mary Garza, Marta Villarreal, Ruby Garcia and parents. Through the extra donations Gonzalez was able to supply 22 children with a total of 37 gifts.

Lowes donated the rolls of duck  tape and Garcia donated her time.
