From formal to western wear, the models walked the runway Thursday to raise money for the Alice Counseling Center.

The style show's theme this year was "The Nutcracker."

"We had a good turnout and we got a lot compliments on the show," said Nena Pitts, Alice Counseling Center board president and coordinator.

Vendors and a silent auction was also part of the fundraiser along with dinner and door prizes.

This year's MCs once again were Kristian Diaz, weather personality and Father Julian Cabrera with Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

The proceeds will assist with expenses to keep the Alice Counseling Center open for Narcotic Anonymous and Alcohol Anonymous group sessions. The center is located at 63 south Wright St.

The center will soon be providing grievance support groups for those who lost a loved one and also sessions for veterans.

Models were wearing clothing from Para Ninos, Re-Purpose Consignment Shop, Horseshoe Western Store and Wedding Lace.
