Romulo B. Sanchez Jr. originally of San Diego, Texas passed from this life Sept. 7, 2015 in Lorton, Virginia surrounded by family. He was a graduate of Texas A&M College, Class of 1957, and a proud member of the "M"aroon Band. He spent 30 years working for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Washington D C. During his employment he enjoyed assignments that took him to Mexico and South America. Rolo loved to travel and saw the country with his wife from an RV. He enjoyed working with his hands in both wood and glass and never missed a football game on TV. 

Rolo is survived by his wife of 57 years Maclovia E. Sanchez; a brother and two sisters; Abelino Sanchez of LaPort, Texas, Elida Morin of San Diego, Texas and Francis Darnell of Jeffersonville, Indiana; a son Michael Sanchez of Springfield, Virginia; and two grandchildren; Anthony Sanchez of Richmond, Virginia and Heather Sanchez of Alexandria, Virginia. 

A remembrance and celebratory Memorial will be held Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 at the Spring Hill Community Ballroom at 2:00 p.m. The ballroom is located at 8946 Yellow Daisy Place, Lorton, Virginia. Bring your stories and share your memories of Rolo.
