The San Diego Family Worship of San Diego invites the community to their annual Gifts-4-Kids volleyball tournament and harvest carnival on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 26.

The event is specifically to raise money for the Christmas holiday during which the church gives out gifts to children in the community.

There is a $10 fee person person to participate in the volleyball tournament. All proceeds go towards the Christmas celebrations.

For the second year, the church has expanded their holiday gifts to provide for the elderly who reside at local nursing homes with necessities such as socks, gloves and hygiene products.

There will be food and drinks, moon jumps for the kids and train rides around the plaza.

The church has an annual Christmas program on Dec. 24 at the San Diego Civic Center where the youth of the church put on a play and dance. A free turkey meal is given and Santa visits.
