Orange Grove High School will be hosting a Community Education Program on Monday evenings starting October 5.

The program will be from 6 to 7 p.m. and will include classes in technology, arts and crafts, fitness, CPR certification, Spanish and culinary which are taught by qualified individuals from Orange Grove.

Classes in October will be on the 5, 12 and 26. November classes will be Nov. 2, 9 and 19.

"This is a great way to get the community involved and to engage them in education," said Ann Leal, Community Education Program Director.

The program is non-profit, meaning that the cost of the classes only pays for the instructors and no money is kept or put towards anything else, Leal stated.

The courses for the entire six-weeks cost $40 and is due when signing up. Register with Jennifer Montgomery at Central Administration. For any questions, please contact Ann Leal at (361) 384-2330..
