The Alice Coyote Football Camp included 160 youngsters.

“That’s an excellent number for us especially in the young group,” Alice coach Chris Soza said. “We want our campers to have a great time learning the basic fundamentals of football.”

Through the week, the youngsters were taught offensive and defensive positions and went over the fundamentals of their positions and the game of football.

The campers of the day included Vincent Beck, Dakota Cardona, Matthew Molina, Sam O'Neal in the sixth and seventh grade and Adam Perez, Michael Ruwaldt, Dominic Garcia and Weston Moore in the eighth and ninth grade.

Waylon Moore was named the Most Enthusiastic Camper and Isaac Martinez earned the Hustle Award.

Overall Outstanding  Campers were Ociel Castillo in the sixth grade, Xavier Pruneda in the seventh grae, Noem Ortiz in the eighth grade and Sean Chapa in the ninth grade.
