Eleven bundles of marijuana were located in the trunk of a car Tuesday evening during a regular traffic stop off Highway 281, just south of Ben Bolt, officials said.

Deputy Robert Waldrop with Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop about 6 p.m. The driver got nervous and Waldrop asked to search the car.

"She was hesitate at first to let me search," Waldrop said.

Reyna Delgado was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana over five pounds, less than 50.

"This is my first time," she told one of the deputies.

Waldrop found 11 bundles of marijuana hidden inside a blue and black duffel bag inside the vehicle, worth about $22,000.

Her four children, ages 16 months, 2, 4 and 12 were also in the vehicle.

"She's going to jail," the 12-year-old told the younger siblings as her mother was being interviewed.
