Brush Country Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) recently added three new volunteer members to their team.
Yvonne Gutierrez, Rosie Vargas and Brenda Kohler were sworn in by Judge Micheal V. Garcia on June 25.
According to their website, Brush Country CASA speaks up for children who have been abused and neglected in Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Kenedy, and Kleberg Counties.
With help from Wells Fargo Bank, CASA can continue to help the children in need.
In a press release, CASA thanked Wells Fargo for their generous donation. "We are so blessed to have friends like Wells Fargo Bank who are always willing to lend a helping hand," the release stated.
CASA is a non-profit organization who recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers as they help guide children through the foster care system.
