It was almost as if Tuesday night made up for Monday night.

On the heels of a 6-3 setback on the road against Victoria West Monday night, in which Alice was troubled by errors, the Coyotes put away Corpus Christi Miller with ease.

The Coyotes batted around in the third to score eight runs on their way to a 10-0 victory in five innings.

Alice’s big inning began when Nomar Garcia drew a walk to lead off the inning. Back-to-back doubles by Chris Gonzales and David Delacruz led to two runs. Later with bases loaded, a single by Fabian Ramos brought in another run. Cameron Trevino and Rene Abrigo then had RBI singles. Alice scored runs off a Manuel Garcia sacrifice and an infield hit by Garcia. The Coyotes scored another run off a Gonzales hit and a Miller error.

Alice scored in the first when Abrigo scored on a two-out error.

While the Coyotes were putting up runs, senior Isaul Molina was keeping the Buccaneers at bay at the plate. Molina managed to pitch his way out of jams in the first and second innings. He finished the game with eight strikeouts through five innings.
