Juan Antonio Salas, 50 years of age, passed away on November 29, 2022, at his residence after a long illness. Juan was born on October 9, 1972, in Alice, Texas to Juan and Yolanda P. Salas. He worked in the oilfield for many years and was a senior operator. He was a fun-loving father to his children. He enjoyed cookouts and having family gatherings. His family will miss him dearly and will cherish his memories for a lifetime. Rest in peace our beloved Dad.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Baldemar Salas and Enrique Salas.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years of companionship, Anna Luera of Alice, Texas; four sons, Juan. (Victoria) Salas, Joaquin Salas, Michael (Ayala) Lopez and. Daniel Lopez all of Alice, Texas; one daughter, Monique Lopez of Alice, Texas; his stepmother, Maria Sylvia Salas of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Cassandra (Raul Dominguez) Salas of Alice, Texas, Crystal (David Garcia) Perez of Kingsville, Texas, Lee-Ann Salas (Priscilla) of San Antonio, Texas and Mary Jane Gomez (Jorge C.) of Alice, Texas; and brother, Salvador Jesus Salas of Corpus Christi, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

Family will receive friends and family at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday December 4, 2022, at Rosas Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Monday December 5, 2022, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.
