Oscar Caesar Lozano

Oscar Caesar Lozano, 44, went to his heavenly home on June 1, 2022. Surrounded by his precious family and his brothers and sisters in Christ. He will be deeply missed by those that loved him. He loved fellowshipping with anyone that wanted to speak about our Lord.

Oscar was born in Alice, Texas and was a graduate of Alice High School class of 1996. He worked 25 years as a welder and eventually opened up his own company, Lozano’s Welding. His most important accomplishment was being ordained a deacon for his beloved Church of the Overcomer.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar & Marie Lozano and Guadalupe & Catarina Jaime. Oscar is survived by his wife of 23 years, Priscilla G. Lozano; his beloved daughter, Iris Marie Lozano; his boys, Oscar Gavin Lozano and Alex John Lozano; parents, David and Catarina Lozano; in-laws, Edward and Alma Garcia; his grandmothers through marriage, Amelia Cavazos and Beatrice Packard; other survivors include his brothers, David (Lisa) Lozano and Christopher (Stephanie R.) Lozano; brothers-in-law, Edward (Laura) Garcia and Roy Garcia; sister-in-law, Christina Garcia; nieces and nephews, Elisha (Zach) Rodriguez, Charlie (Olivia) Lozano, Ryan, Luke and Criselda Lozano, Chelsea Olivarez, Estevan (Mysabel) Garcia, Robert & Joe Garcia, Elena Garcia-Medina, Jake and Bella Lozano, Colton Garcia and Dylan, Emma & Nicholas West and his beloved Jaime cousins.

Family will receive family and friends at 5:00 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Church of the Overcomer with a prayer service to begin at 6:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Church of the Overcomer with a funeral procession departing the funeral home beginning at 9:15 am. Burial will follow at Roberson Collins Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Garza, Jesse Soto, Martin Flores, David Lozano, Chris Lozano, Pio Trevino, Ray Patterson and Kenny Riley. Honorary pallbearers will be Gavin Lozano, Alex Lozano, Balta Padilla and Ernie Herrera.

The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice staff, Priscilla and Evita and to our church pastors A.B. and Will Jimenez.
