VFW POST 8621 HONORS LOCAL DISABLED VETERAN WITH FLAG REPLACEMENT

SUBMITTED REPORT

VFW Post 8621 had the honor of assisting a local disabled U.S. Army Veteran, Mr. Rojas, who reached out seeking help to replace his worn American flag. Due to his health condition, Mr. Rojas was unable to complete the task himself.

Upon receiving the request, Post Commander Silvestre Rodriguez and his wife, Melinda, took immediate action. They purchased a new American flag and personally delivered it to the Rojas residence to ensure his request was fulfilled with dignity and respect.

Though Mr. Rojas was not feeling well enough to step outside, his wife greeted the VFW team at the door and expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of her husband and their family.

VFW Post 8621 remains steadfast in its mission to serve and honor all veterans, ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.
