Alice ISD is excited to announce that they are on schedule for the 2024 Bond Stadium project, with construction moving forward as planned. The district is finalizing bid applications this week, and the construction phase will officially begin in May 2025, with the new stadium expected to be completed by May 2026.

Demolition of the previous stadium began in January 2025 and was completed ahead of schedule in February 2025. The removal of existing underground piers was completed in March 2025, and a pre-bid meeting with contractors was held in March, followed by bid submissions between March 7 and March 28. Drawings for the new stadium were sent to the City of Alice on April 1, 2025.

Dr. Anysia Trevino, Alice ISD Superintendent, expressed her enthusiasm about the project, saying, “We are excited to share the Memorial Stadium timeline. We continue to move forward and progress one step at a time. You’ll be seeing a lot of construction in the next few months. This could not be possible without the community’s support.”

The project is moving forward steadily, and the district is looking forward to the construction phase starting next month. With strong community support, Alice ISD is on track to deliver a state-of-the-art Memorial Stadium that will serve students, athletes, and the community for years to come.
