ALICE SECURES 7-2 DISTRICT WIN OVER CC MOODY, KEEP PLAYOFF HOPES ALIVE

The Alice Coyotes came up big in their 7-2 victory over Moody on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, improving their district record to 6-4 and keeping their playoff aspirations intact. The Coyotes showed their resilience and determination as they continue their district grind, with the next big matchup against CC Miller at home on Friday.

Once again, Ale Asevedo was lights out on the mound, delivering a stellar performance. Asevedo pitched six innings, striking out an impressive 13 batters, and secured another win for the Coyotes. His control and composure were key to keeping the Moody offense at bay.

At the plate, Landon Castillo led the charge, going 2-4 with a triple, a double, and driving in 3 RBIs. His offensive firepower was crucial to the Coyotes’ success. Robert Ramirez, Emede Lozano, and Asevedo all crossed the plate for runs, contributing to the team’s well-rounded attack.
