Parents were reported fighting at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center Saturday, March 1, while the Annual NCA All-Star National Championship is being held in Dallas this weekend.
According to reports, police responded to an incident in the downtown area where the incident took place.
Several social media users were expressing their concerns about a possible shooting, but law enforcement officials confirmed there were no shots fired.
According to social media reports, Dallas police confirmed that there was not an active shooter call but the investigation determined a fight between two people led to multiple poles being knocked down, which caused a loud noise.
The convention center was evacuated as a precaution and activities for today (Saturday) were suspended.
Alice’s very own K9 Cuties, Wolf Pack, Purple Reign and Texas Cheer Dragons are all at the NCA Nationals
