The Alice Coyote Band hit all the right notes Saturday, October 19, at Wildcats Stadium in Gregory-Portland, earning a Division I rating at the UIL Region 14 Marching Contest and securing their spot in the Area Marching Contest.

With precision, passion, and pride, the Coyotes delivered an unforgettable performance that wowed judges and fans alike. Their hard work, discipline, and musical excellence shined through every formation and note, marking another milestone in what’s been a remarkable “Bandtober” for the program.

“This is a huge achievement for our students,” said Band Director Emerico Perez. “They’ve dedicated countless hours to perfecting their show, and tonight’s performance reflects that commitment.”

The Division I rating is a testament to the talent and teamwork of the students, directors, and supporters who make up the heart of the Alice Coyote Band. Their journey now continues to the Area Marching Contest, where they’ll represent Alice with the same spirit, energy, and pride that brought them this far.

Congratulations to the entire Alice Coyote Band family — your hard work and harmony continue to make the community proud.
