The next generation of Vaquero athletes got a powerful dose of inspiration as Coach Bo Ochoa addressed participants at the San Diego Youth Football Camp this week at Plaza Alcala.
With energy, encouragement, and a clear message of hard work and dedication, Coach Ochoa spoke to the young players about what it means to wear the Vaquero jersey — both on and off the field. His visit underscored the importance of discipline, teamwork, and community pride.
The camp, which draws youth from across the area, offers fundamental football skills training led by local coaches and former athletes. It continues for two more days, running through June 11 and 12, and is part of the district’s broader effort to build athletic excellence from the ground up.
Parents, coaches, and volunteers praised Coach Ochoa’s message and the opportunity the camp provides for kids to grow not just as athletes, but as future leaders in their schools and community.
