The small brush country town of San Diego is once again thriving for beauty and charm with the addition of the latest welcome sign for those passing through from the Freer and Laredo entrance.

The Beautifying San Diego, Tx Committee wants to bring back the sparkling scenery the town had long echoed with its parks, sidewalks and storefronts. It’s a town full of history, natural beauty and hardworking people. But over the years like many small towns, it had begun to show signs of wear.

The committee with passionate residents is currently working on bold ideas to revitalize San Diego and bring back its charm. The potential to shine once again is their goal.

The committee wants to thank the Barerras for donating the piece of land and a thank you to Roland and Nikki Pena for donating the sign. Their care and collective effort add to the enhancement of the town’s appearance.
