Ale Asevedo delivered a standout performance pitching a complete 7 inning game that left CC King in awe. The senior pitcher launched only 82 pitches, struck out 4 batters, walked 4 and did not allow a single run. His control, velocity, and ability to execute pitches under pressure were all on full display Tuesday night, Mar. 25, helping secure a crucial district 29-5A win for the team on the road.

It wasn’t just the stats that earned Asevedo the title of Player of the Game, it was his composure in critical moments. With runners on base in innings, he calmly worked his way out of jams, refusing to give in to the pressure. His ability to focus, stay in control, and execute pitches when it mattered most was a key factor in the team’s success.

Asevedo has been a consistent force for the Alice Coyotes baseball team throughout the season. Known for his work ethic, leadership, and sportsmanship, he’s one of the team’s most reliable players. Over the course of the season, he has racked up impressive statistics, and his ability to dominate on the mound has made him a standout player.

Even with all the success, Asevedo remains humble, constantly pushing himself to be better. His dedication to his training and preparation shows in every game, whether he’s pitching, hitting, or supporting his teammates.
