For years the local VFW Post 8621 has been the heart of the community. A place where veterans come together to honor their service, connect with fellow veterans and give back to the community.

Recently the post welcomed a new member who brings not only his military experience but a deep commitment to honoring those who served.

U.S. Navy Submarine veteran R.J. Ramirez who served onboard the USS Indiana SSN 789, joined the post to continue his mission of service to others and keep the spirit of camaraderie alive. His service to this country is appreciated.
