SWINGING FOR GLORY BRINGS WEEKEND THRILLS IN LONDON

This past weekend the London ISD Invitational brought together golfers of fierce competition and all skills levels. The Alice Coyote Varsity Boys and Girls teams were eager to make their mark participating and vying for the top spots in several divisions.

In the Girls Division, Cristela Trevino’s steady play under pressure earned her a bronze finish with a score of 88. Not to be outdone in the Boys Division, Alice’s Christian Nunez and Noel Gonzalez pushed themselves to the limit staying focused and taking one hole at a time for a gold and silver finish with scores of 74 and 75.

The energy throughout the tournament was infectious with golf enthusiasts showing their support. For the boys and girls who participated, this weekend marked another step forward in their journey as athletes. With each swing and putt, they continue to build their skills and passion for the game, and the Alice Coyote Golf program.
