County Judge Pete Treviño invited the 6th and 11th grade students to the Capitol on Thursday, Mar. 7 in honor of Jim Wells County Day!

The students had an incredible experience—starting with a delicious breakfast, followed by a tour of the Capitol, lunch on the Capitol lawn, and a visit to the Bob Bullock Museum.

It was a day filled with learning, exploration, great memories and a great opportunity for the students to witness government in action and experience Texas history firsthand.
