After reading the book “What Pet Should I Get” at Schallert Elementary School Monday morning, Alice Fire Chief Patrick Thomas showed students his pet idea! Thomas and others from the community were reading at the school Monday morning for Dr. Seuss Day and the start of Texas Public Schools Week.
