According to Fire Chief Patrick J. Thomas social media reports, firefighters from Alice and Ben Bolt were working on a wildfire on Highway 281 and Farm-to-Market Road 1554 this afternoon.

Motorists are advised to please stay away from the area to allow them to work safely.
