According to the Department of Public Safety Sargeant Harold Mallory, at approximately 9:14pm Monday night, Feb. 24, the department of public safety was advised of a crash on FM 665 near the San Fernando Creek involving a vehicle and a cow.

A 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by 33-year-old Adan Martinez of Alice was traveling westbound on FM 665 when he struck a black cow crossing the roadway.

Martinez was checked out by Allegiance EMS at the scene but was not injured in the crash.
