It was a unique way to mark the day of love. Residents at the Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Alice went into art mode and did a lot of inspired painting while enjoying its Valentine’s Day Sip & Paint Social.

The dining room was decorated with heart shaped balloons and heart printed table runners to add to the celebration, but everyone was most excited to see who they voted for as king and queen.

The Valentine’s Day Royal Court of 2025 were:

King was Mr. Buentello, Queen Ms. Vera, Duke Mr. Holden, and Duchess Ms. Redner! They all smiled with such delight as they were crowned and received their custom-made sash and certificate.

Residents enjoyed Big Red floats, valentine’s day cake, cupcakes and tons of fun Q-Tip painting.
