Alice took down McAllen Memorial 54-48 in the Lady Mustangs home court Friday night, Feb.14 to capture the Area Championship and keep the post season going.  

The game was relatively close until the Lady Coyotes began outscoring and clamping down on defense to slow down a rally from the Lady Mustangs. 

Tipoff for the next playoff showdown against Cedar Park will be in Yoakum Tuesday, Feb. 18.
