The Coyotes and Lady Coyotes were out improving and fine-tuning Friday, Feb. 7 for this weekend’s regional swim meet in Corpus Cristi. The Alice boys and girls swimmers were focused mentally as well as on their physical preparedness. Therefore, they took active steps to further their consistency in the water with race strategy and technical corrections. 

All 11 swimmers and 13 events qualify to return to finals on Saturday, Feb. 8. Eleven of those events made it to the A final. Coach Savannah Albiar was fired up. 

“The kids killed it today at prelims. Finals tomorrow. It’s go time. Lots of hours and hard work will be put to the test,” she said.
