A Second Annual COVID remembrance walk took place at the Padre Pedro Park in San Diego Tuesday, Oct. 15 to honor those that were tragically lost and those who survived the pandemic.
The event was part of the Yellow Heart Memorial and was organized by the Beautify San Diego Texas Committee.
Duval County residents dressed in yellow shared their experiences with one another. Some shared the same feeling of losing loved ones and others being hospitalized after being affected by the worldwide pandemic.
The walk allowed those attending to get even closer and celebrate the lives that were lost by walking for them and having the feeling that they’re always going to live in our memories.
