The SB Mosser Masonic Lodge #92 are proud to announce their Scholarships and Teacher Award to the following individuals that made it a priority to be successful in the classroom. The Mosser Lodge Scholarships were awarded to Kaylie Barrera of Ben Bolt, Kaylee Vela of San Diego and Thania Flores of Agua Dulce.
The Mosser Lodge “Outstanding Teacher Award” was Deliza Barrera of Alice ISD. Barrera has been at Schallert Elementary School for two years.
Wade Maples with the Masonic Lodge said it’s always fun to give to our future leaders.
“This is fun. It’s a great pleasure to help students and teachers breathe a bit easier, getting them these scholarships to cover any costs in their career. It takes some stress away and allows them to keep going. They go to a good cause and supports the community,” he said.
Maples added that the student scholarships were $750 dollars each and $500 for the teacher scholarship.
